When performing splicing, we ensure that we are following standards set by our clients, which can vary from project to project depending on the equipment used( nodes, splice protectors, ect) and the purpose of the infrastructure.

Single Core –

We are using Fujikura 90S+ to ensure that splicing is done at the highest possible quality, we regularly service our splicing machines to offer our clients peace of mind when we perform activities on their networks.
Some of the services we offer are :

– Cutovers –
Scheduled in advance for completely swapping a jointing closure due to improving capacity or the existing jointing closure being in a dangerous state, possibly causing downtime for customers if not changed.
Our capacity offers us the possibility to swap your jointing closures in a matter of hours, while your customers cannot even notice that there was a disruption in their service.
We deal with all the hassle, identifying the existing splicing in the node, removing and preparing the cables from one node to the other for re-splicing and speaking to your NOC to make sure that there’s no customer left behind once we complete our activity.

– Outages –
While this is a service that is more related to our 24/7 emergency support, these can also be scheduled in advance for various reasons, like a cable which suffered damage partially and has to be changed but there are customers still live on it and they have to be notified before fixing the situation.
We regularly do this and there hasn’t been a single time we failed bringing the network back up through the years.

– Diversions –
We are experienced to deliver your diversions with our full turnkey solution, this usually happens with HS2, where we have to move existing cables through a different route due to their activities.

– Breakfix –
We are regularly on call with our clients in case of unfortunate events, this being part of our 24/7 emergency support service, we are called out on site due to various reasons, some of them have been cars bumping into cabinets, cabinets being subject to vandalism, poles getting knocked over, other companies working in the same area that have caused our clients cables to break, ect.

Ribbon Splicing –

We usually perform ribbon splicing on Openreach and CityFibre networks as not all operators have adopted this into their networks. We are using Fujikura 90R when it comes to ribbon splicing, in fact, most of our fleet of splicing machines are Fujikura because we trust them. We own around 25 splicing machines, 23 of them are various models of Fujikura ( depending on the activity performed ) and 2 are Sumitomo 72C+ in case we have clients that prefer Sumitomo being used on their network.

Quality Promise

We always aim to respect your splicing diagrams, specifications, approved materials for the best outcome possible, we do prioritize quality splicing with our premium tools and vast knowledge, because we want your network to stand the test of time and easy access into your jointing closures in case of network upgrades.
